Dor HaBonim Beach Nature Reserve
A paying INPA cove with kid-scale pools in the rocks — if you pick the right beach, not a flattened ‘Dor/Habonim’ pin.
Best for: Toddlers, Grade-school, Teens, Multigenerational

Pay per car. Natural kids’ coves, swimming, rocks to climb, sea gliders overhead, optional hiking. Lifeguard coverage differs between the Dor Beach and Habonim sections. Apple Maps may label this drop Tsrufa; the coordinates are the family Dor Habonim pin, not a generic Carmel-coast guess.
Water / site note. Do not flatten Dor Beach and Habonim into one safety claim. Confirm which gate you are using and whether a lifeguard is on duty that day.
Rock pools can be shallow and warm; open-sea entries are not. Depth is an observation from family visits, not a guarantee.
Water type: reserve pool. Lifeguard: Seasonal.
